A prize of £50 will be paid to the Best Novice Juvenile Band not on the official grade 4 prize list.
DRAW: The draw for order of playing takes place at 11.30 a.m.
SELECTIONS:
GRADE 1 – Two 5/7 minute selections GRADE 2 – One 4/6 minute selection
GRADE 3 – One 3/5 minute selection GRADE 4 - Novice/Juvenile Bands 2min 45sec –4min 30sec Selection in Quick March Rhythm
All bands are requested to take part in massed band parade at end of games – weather permitting.
NOTE: Lower grade bands may compete one grade up -- IF TIME PERMITS
Entries taken prior to draw on day of contest
Bands must practise in the area provided
Any band with a competing Drum Major, may be asked to play for the Drum Majors Contest
Closing date for entries to be included in the Games Programme – Friday 1st August 2008
